Round 1 of eGolf Tour saw 4 players battle it out on the course to try and chase down Liv Golf player Adrian Meronk of Poland who goes 6 under in his opening round. French DP World player Julien Brun goes close with a round of 69 leaving Meronk with a 3 shot lead going into round 2. Other players amongst this weeks field were Chris Wood and Sam Epstein shooting a 74 and 77 in their first round.
As always back at The Els Club for Friday’s Lions Den and Round 2 of eGolf Tour. The course was set up difficult today with some tough pin positions and greens super slick as the Ground Staff at Els level up the course for the finale of eGolf Tour, amongst other tournaments taking place at the club, we appreciate all the hard work and support from eh whole team at Els. Due to the difficulty of the course and the wind also having played a part in scoring 3 players went round in +2 (74) for round 2 meaning Meronk kept his lead with a total of 140 gross. Congratulations on another win for Meronk as we wish him the best of luck over in Riyadh for his next Liv tournament.
